You may have heard by now but there is something pretty cool going on on Murray Street in Port Moody.

That’s here, in case you were wondering.

In fact the breweries are pretty aware of it too, and have decided to cooperate on among other things the branding of the area. Despite, my suggestion… and pleading they haven’t gone with #BREWardInlet. No, instead they (Twin Sails, Yellow Dog, Moody Ales, and The Parkside) have gone with #BrewersRow, or simply #TheRow. Now a name is not the only part of this cooperation. There is first and foremost the collaboration beer, with all proceeds going to The Port Moody Arts Society. This beer is not a 1 off either, look for it to become an annual thing with the brewery changing year to year (this year it is Yellow Dog). There is also a competition to design the label so if you are interested get on it. Yes, I do know what the beer will be, but I will let the breweries and charities reveal that. We should expect this beer in approx. 6 weeks.

4 breweries, 1 beer

What else can we expect through the #BrewersRow cooperation? Based on what I know some sort of beer festival in Port Moody seems possible, Cooperative advertising too possibly on the new evergreen line. This cooperation isn’t just limited to the breweries, I would expect the city of Port Moody to be a partner too. So expect #BREWardInlet or #BrewersRow to only get more exciting in the near and short term.

That is unfortunate. brewersRow is so bloody generic. Not saying your idea is the be all and end all (although I am partial to it) but this could be East Van, many places in Seattle or Portland to name a few locations. Very unfortunate.

On the charity colab beers I really like that idea and if I had any real skill at making digital art I would enter.
